Coal miners going back to work and singing the National Anthem!!!

Watch: 58 Seconds Guaranteed to Give Obama a Heart Attack!  Yeaaaa coal miners!!!!

Just under one minute of footage from a coal mine in West Virginia has managed to put Barack Obama, the NFL, and America haters everywhere to shame.

While Obama is enjoying his 'retirement' on perpetual vacation and millionaire football players are refusing to stand for the flag like spoiled brats, real men are doing what they always do: Getting their hands dirty and going to work.

In a dramatic video posted on social media by coal miner Shane Wriston, a group of blue-collar workers is preparing to do something they do hundreds of times a year: Descend deep into the earth to do a tough and dangerous job that few people appreciate.

This time was a bit different, however. A fellow miner named Josh Stowers decided to sing the national anthem as the men prepared for their dangerous tasks.

“I wanted everybody to feel close together as a whole family right then and there,” Stowers later explained to KSAZ News.  “A bunch of guys I work with have past military experience and I knew that song would hit them real hard and make them feel comfortable. They could’ve had a bad day at that time, and that song would put them over the edge and make them feel better about themselves,” he continued.

Coal mining has benefited from advances in technology over the last few decades, but it is still one of the most dangerous jobs in America.  “The rate of fatal injuries in the coal mining industry in 2007 was 24.8 per 100,000 full time equivalent workers, nearly six times the rate for all private industry,” the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.

Besides putting the self-centered anthem kneelers in professional football to shame, the viral video is also a bit of a coal-gritty middle finger to Barack Obama.  The former 'president' made it no secret that shutting down the entire coal sector — and its 50,000 jobs — was his goal. In 2008, Obama declared that his plans against traditional energy were specifically designed to “bankrupt” the industry.

“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can.  It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted,” he promised.

Despite being an increasingly clean, reliable and proven source for America’s energy needs, coal was put directly in the cross hairs by liberals.

Of course, they didn’t expect Donald Trump to win the White House. Earlier this year, President Trump proudly announced that he was reversing Obama’s anti-energy policies.  “My administration is putting an end to the war on coal,” Trump stated in March. “I am taking historic steps to lift the restrictions on American energy, to reverse government intrusion, and to cancel job-killing regulations.”

That’s something worth celebrating… and it’s something worth singing about, too.
